July was an exciting month – as we have now installed our new digital printing press!
With an ever increasing demand for short run printing, we are now proud to announce that our new digital print department is up and running! From single prints up to 1000 or 2000 depending on the job size, our new press offers fantastic quality print without the set up costs of our litho department.
Whilst researching our new Canon machine, we tried various digital printers in the marketplace – from Konica Minolta, Zerox, HP and Kodak, only to find that Canon was by far (in our opinion) the more superior machine in its class. One of the more common problems with digital printing is that there can be a loss of quality on double sided card, poor registration and a very ‘waxy’ print (a problem particularly if you want to laminate your job). What we found was that our new canon machine handled all of these problems with ease, in fact the first time we saw the print quality we signed up there and then!
So with our new digital department up and running, as well as our firmly established Litho print division backed with our large format capability – we can offer the complete service under one roof!
